San Francisco Bay Area
Plain English AI help for Bay Area businesses
You live where a lot of this AI stuff gets built. That has not made it one bit easier to use. You tried ChatGPT, it helped once, then you went back to the old way and forgot about it. The problem was never you. Nobody showed you how to build a simple system around these tools. I am Matt Perry, I work with one business at a time, and we fix one real thing together.
The Bay Area is not one market
Nobody who works here thinks of this as a single place, and the businesses show it. A San Francisco storefront is fighting rent and paperwork. Oakland runs on owner-operators who do the work and the invoicing. San Jose does its business out of a van and a phone, spread across a lot of ground. Berkeley moves with the university calendar and produces an enormous amount of writing. What connects them is the same gap. The AI tools are sitting right there, the people building them are your neighbors, and no one has ever sat down and shown you how to make one of them fit your Tuesday.

Somewhere else in the Bay Area? Work is online by default, so location is rarely the deciding factor. Book a Power Hour and we can talk wherever you are.
What we could work on
- →The job that eats your week. Pick the single task you dread and we build a repeatable way through it, start to finish, in one sitting.
- →The writing you redo every time. Quotes, listings, customer replies, the monthly update. Set them up once so you are editing instead of starting from nothing.
- →The tools you already pay for. If you have ChatGPT, Claude or a Google account sitting unused, we make those work properly before adding anything new.
Questions people ask first
Do you meet in person or online?
Online by default, over a screen share, which is what keeps the price where it is. If you are in San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley or San Jose and it genuinely helps to sit together, I do that when it makes sense. Most first sessions work fine online, and you get the recording either way.
I am a one-person business. Am I too small for this?
No. There is no too small. A one-person operation is honestly the easiest place to see a result, because there is nobody to convince and nothing to roll out. You decide on Tuesday and it is running on Wednesday. Freelancers, side projects and people who are simply curious are all welcome here.
